Retailer Travel Information

Complimentary Air/Bus Transportation & Lodging
  • SUPERVALU will provide qualifying retailers with complimentary air or bus transportation, as well as up to (3) nights of hotel accommodations from July 24-27, 2017. If you choose to add additional nights, you can do so at the time of registration; however, additional nights will be at your own expense and based on availability at the discounted group rate.
Buying Requirements for Complimentary Travel
  • To qualify for complimentary air/bus transportation and hotel accommodations for the Expo, retailers must meet the following buying requirements (per departmental attendee).

If you register as:

    • Grocery/Frozen Food/Dairy – Turn in your Expo book, event orders & seasonal orders totaling $20,000 for airfare/bus transportation and/or hotel.
    • GM/HBC – Turn in your Expo book, event orders & seasonal orders totaling $7,000 or more for airfare/bus transportation and/or hotel.
    • Bakery and Deli – Turn in your Expo book, event orders & seasonal orders totaling $7,000 or more for airfare/bus transportation and/or hotel.
    • Floral and Produce – Turn in your Expo book and event orders totaling $7,000 or more for airfare/bus transportation and/or hotel.
    • Meat and Seafood – Turn in your Expo book & event orders totaling $7,000 or more for airfare/bus transportation and/or hotel.
    • Owner, Store Manager, Corporate Vice President, Corporate Director, Corporate Buyer – Up to 5 additional complimentary registrations per owner group.

NOTE:
*Transportation and/or hotel will be charged back to your retailer statement if minimums are not met for each attendee.
**Hotel accommodations will NOT be covered by SUPERVALU for any retailer who lives within the seven-county Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

Retailer Travel Arrangements
  • Travel and lodging arrangements must be submitted via online registration. Once you've completed your registration, an agent from ALTOUR will be in contact to confirm your travel arrangements.
  • ALTOUR will make air arrangements for all SUPERVALU retailers via the most efficient route from your home city to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Air travel arrangements will be confirmed using non-refundable airline tickets with an airline-imposed penalty for changes. Tickets are subject to airline-imposed penalties if changed or cancelled once ticketed and will be a responsibility of the retailer. To eliminate any penalties, please plan your stay carefully.

Guest Policy
  • A guest is considered someone who is not part of the purchasing decision. The guest badge will allow access to the Expo floor. All other travel expenses will be at the guest's expense. If you wish to bring a guest to the show, we encourage you to book their registration and travel at the same time as yours.
